Love Feast

But the greatest of these is LOVE

We love each other! This was our love feast. At the end of Lecture Phase everyone in your DTS dresses real nice and we have a big feast to celebrate what we have accomplished. It's called a love feast because we get delicious food, beautiful arrangements and wonderful family time. It really is like a family. I can't believe the closeness to each other and the nearness to God. We are all totally different people then when we first started. God is so awesome! He gets all the glory for our family. He brought us all here at this time so we could do life together. And I can't wait to go to Poland with these awesome people! It's going to be such an adventure. We have learned and grown so much the past 11 weeks. It's going to be ridiculous to see how God uses us in Poland and Germany.

God's Dream

Yesterday we had Lou Engle speak and he was awesome. He carries so much authority when He speaks and really is a friend of God. Lou listens to the Lord and does what He says. He encouraged us to dream, and to fast and pray. I always knew fasting was important, but now I really know that it is something to get us closer to the Lord, when we submit ourselves to Him and just say Lord we want all of you.

Lou talked about Psalm 149 and he said, did you know you are God's dream. Isn't that incredible? We are the dream of the living God! The God that made the world, He dreamed about you and me before time was created.
"He had a dream about you then He wrapped a body around the dream, bodies get old but dreams never die. In the natural realm old men have regrets but in the spirit realm dreams never die. "
You have a story. Your story was written by the God of the Universe, the best story of all. And the best part is the novel gets better and better so don’t bail out on the bad parts.

God wrote a story line about your life and God doesn't write bad novels. God doesn't write mathematical novels, He writes poetry. Your life is poetry; He formed you in your mother’s womb. Created to do works in Christ Jesus!
Never doubt your worth in Christ and the story that he is writing in you. He is the author of your story! Don't let anyone ever get you down for saying otherwise. God loves you because you are His dream!

beautiful feet

Romans 10:14-15

14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

Ephesians 1:3-14

 Ephesians 1:3-14
Praise for Spiritual Blessings in Christ

3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5he[b] predestined us for adoption to sonship[c] through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace 8 that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding,9 he[d] made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10 to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ. 11 In him we were also chosen,[e] having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

10/40 Window

So yesterday I got introduced to the 10/40 window.

"The 10/40 Window is the rectangular area of North Africa, the Middle East and Asia approximately between 10 degrees north and 40 degrees north latitude. The 10/40 Window is often called "The Resistant Belt" and includes the majority of the world's Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists. The original 10/40 Window included only countries with at least 50% of their land mass within 10 and 40 degrees north latitude. The revised 10/40 Window includes several additional countries, such as Indonesia, that are close to 10 or 40 degrees north latitude and have high concentrations of unreached peoples. See the original and revised country lists to the right. An estimated 4.49 billion individuals residing in approximately 8,733 distinct people groups are in the revised 10/40 Window. The 10/40 Window is home to some of the largest unreached people groups in the world such as the ShaikhYadavaTurksMoroccan Arabs,PushtunJat and Burmese.
The 10/40 Window has several important considerations: first, the historical and Biblical significance; second, the least evangelized countries; third, the unreached people groups and cities; fourth, the dominance of three religious blocs; fifth, the preponderance of the poor; sixth, the strongholds of Satan within the 10/40 Window."

this is from the website, www.joshuaproject.net

....Here are more facts about the 10/40 window

Nearly 4 billion people live here, including 90 percent of the world's poorest of the poor.
It is estimated that 1.6 billion of these people have never had the chance to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ
  • 95% of the people are unevangelized.
  • 90% of the people are the poorest of the poor, averaging $250 per family annually

THIS IS A BIG DEAL GUYS!
This indicates we still have a large window of unreached people groups. What are we doing to effectively bring the gospel to these nations? What are we doing as Christ followers to share Jesus with them?

Here is another crazy thing....

This is a map of the most persecuted Christians. I don't think it is a coincidence that it is the same exact region where the 10/40 window is. Are we afraid to preach the gospel in this region? Are Christ followers educated about this region? We need to be sending more people to the 10/40 window because it really is the "ends of the earth" like what is stated in the Great Commission.
Pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters! Pray for the unreached people groups, and ask God where are you sending me?
